Doctor of Traditional Naturopathy

 

Robert Abbatiello, L.Ac., Dipl. AC (NCCAOM) is a Licensed Acupuncturist, Herbalist, Homeopath,  Nutritional Consultant and healer. He currently maintains his Acupuncture and Herbal license in  Massachusetts. He is a graduate of New England School of Acupuncture (1985) and Westbrook University (Doctor of Naturopathy 2007).  In the past Robert has practiced as a Licensed Traditional Naturopath in Washington DC  and most recently in Massachusetts for over 10 years until the licensing of Naturopaths began in 2018.

This change in the licensing law led to an elimination of all Traditional Naturopaths, currently only Western trained Naturopaths are allowed to be licensed in Massachusetts.  Fortunately his scope of practice as an acupuncturist in Massachusetts allows him to continue his practice as he has in the past  without changing his healing modalities except in name alone.  Therefore, at this time, he is not advertising himself or practicing as a Naturopathic Doctor.  Instead Robert considers himself an Integrative Health Practitioner and is functioning solely under his acupuncture license.

Robert brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and training to the natural healing arts of acupuncture, homeopathy, herbology and the teaching of yoga & meditation. Integrating a multitude of natural healing methods to support the body is the core aspect of his healing philosophy.
